WHAT WE DID
Analysed online discussions with AI-powered social insights on sushi to refine market positioning and define consumer behaviours to provide rationale for a new sushi meal deal range.
RESULT
Through Sweet Spot's social listening, we uncovered the dynamics of consumer conversations about sushi online, providing Ichiban with critical insights into buying behaviours and market trends. This analysis confirmed existing theories and informed new product development, showcasing our ability to deliver cost-effective, customised solutions. The insights are pivotal for Ichiban's strategic planning and will be instrumental in validating their forthcoming meal deal product range.
We used Sweet Spot to help us understand the conversations consumers where having about sushi online. This has helped us understand drivers and barriers to why shoppers are buying sushi. It was a great way to confirm some of our hunches about shoppers but also help us focus our NPD. We also found the service really cost effective whilst tailored to our needs. We are going to use the results from the work in conjunction with other insights work to shape our next range review.
